Last term was busy, but very successful.
Last term, the quality of our music has continued to be fantastic. Broxbourne, piano and clarinet recitals, Open Evenings, The Big Band in Hertford, A Rock Gig, Saxophones at Amwell View, singing for Tescos staff and so on. The dedication that many in our team show to evenings, extra work and supporting the students is amazing.
On Saturday 15th Dec, Take Note, our community choir directed by Debbie Kemp had their Christmas Concert. What an occasion. Parents, former parents, staff, former staff, students, former students and others, all performing together in the spirit of Simon Balle. The smiles on their faces, the enjoyment in their singing. A standard they have never achieved before. Dedication and hard work. This all came together in a wonderful evening of music.
The Carol Service was also fantastic, and Years 7 and 8 enjoyed the Wednesday performance. So many parents came up to me on Tuesday to say how high the standard was, and how wonderful the department is. Some lovely cards and comments also came from some of our worst enemies!
The Trinity exams last term were also fantastic. Yet again, more success.

Timetables - please adjust accordingly. Timetables are the responsibility of the teacher, not Sue. We have a two-tier system at present and it is not fair on those that spend time on theirs. Therefore, Sue will not be preparing any for this term. Please plan in advance!
