Well, what a concert. Well done to everyone who took part in the concert last Wednesday. Once again, an amazing range of musical styles and abilities. The recording is excellent and will be available soon. Very well done to all who took part - a fantastic team effort from all concerned.
This week, we have more events. The tour meeting on Tuesday at 6pm. Mrs Simpson's singing evening on Tuesday at 7pm. Ms Kemp's singing evening at St Andrew's Church on Thursday at 7pm. The Rock Gig on Thursday evening at the Corn Exchange. Associated Board exams on Friday.
Sue will be passing over to some details of new Year 7 students from September. Numbers are slightly down, and Joe is the big winner this year. Parents will get a letter and the new student handbook.
The curriculum timetable has been delayed this year due to issues with Science and Maths, so I have not yet booked in the music inset for the start of the year. The date, in the first week of term, will be confirmed this week. Possibly Monday 3rd Sept or Weds 5th. We will be continuing our work on the quality of teaching and how we work together.
