You will see that Thurs 28th is an inset day. 8.30 - 10.30am is Child Protection training. If you are able to come in for this, then please do. I know many have recently had Child Protection training. If this is the case, we must have a copy of the certificate please. I really do have to rely on you to bring this in as it is so important.
Instrumental lessons should have reached lesson 22 by the end of this term. If this is not the case, please flag this up to Sue.
Thank you to everyone for what is happening at present, and the amount of celebration that we have. The recent Big Band evening, the Rock Gig last Thursday (that was heaving) and all the events coming up. We should be proud of what we achieve and how we all work together. Danny and Natalie have been making great progress with Year 10 and 11 GCSE compositions (one of the hardest aspects of the course) and for the first time in many years, I am not running around chasing Yr 11 performances. Most are done. Wow.
Outside the department, the school continues to prepare for Ofsted. I continue to chase paperwork. We continue to wrestle with progress. At these challenging times, our musical successes put it all into perspective.
Have a great week.
Mark
